Anyone want to join with me in posting your chore list for the day? Maybe we can motivate each other to complete as much as we possibly can and inspire each other to do more. Plus, seeing this thread will get me back on task when I take a break to check new posts LOL! Will come back and delete lines as I finish and add more lines as I realize I have more to do.

(Not in order of importance)
1. Hang clothes line outside.
2. 2 loads laundry. Done
3. Empty and re-load dishwasher Done.
4. Finish cleaning up car seat for my friend Done.
5. Finish knitting romper for baby Jacob.
6. Plant Echinacea seeds
7. Scrub my new tub I found outside (if sunshine ever pops out today)
8. Sew pants for Truman Finished! I've gotta post a pic of these. I ended up making overalls instead and they are cute :).

To do, to do, to do.... 8/26

1. drop the kids at school done
2. go to doc for bloodwork done

still trying to decide on what to do with the rest of my day
should I????
go to evansville to get my recycle container and misc stuff from Lowes and then drop in the ReStore
or
should I work on the walls in my room some more
or
should I work on removing the junk from this house?

To be completely honest I really should be getting rid of the junk, but I just don't want to mess with it. Is that bad?

So far for today (8/25): I have got the kids off to school and washed up the breakfast dishes, walked the dogs, straightened up the living room and made my bed.

I still have to:
1. go to the doctor- just a physical nothing major.- done get blood work done tomorrow and go back in two weeks BLUCK!
2. help my honey write a resume- silly boy already had one so i helped learn how to apply for jobs online
3. sort through more junk in the back room- didn't even touch it
4. maybe go into evansville and pick up some things I need to work on the house- paint and such yep didn't do this either
5. one more bat watch this evening well crud i didn't do this either

But I did.... go to the local re-sale shop and get an adjustable bed frame. Then I decided to start pulling the wavy paneling off the walls in my room. Boy is that a big mess! Stopped on that. Too much dust. And put my bed together.

4. Decluttering - I keep doing 15 minutes at a time, just like Flylady.
5. Keep working on 'studio' - uhm, guess I need to get going on that one
6. Give final count for DD's birthday party - Done

BTW, I love your signature, Melanie! That's a great quote, words to live by!

Yesterday was a once in blue moon day, Mel.
Today I went to work for 2 1/2 hrs. Went to get some clothes for the kids for school and a couple of groceries and stopped by the PO on the way back home. Baked a chocolate cake. Sent mom home with a little table, some linens and her old pitcher and bowl. I have dinner on the stove and a load of wash in the washer. One more load to go and dishes to do. Then I think I will soak in the tub and maybe clean my room a little, very little. hahahhaa This is more my typical day.

We are all a bit out of practice aren't we???? Maybe that just means we are super busy. Nice thought anyhoo.

I have been a busy busy bee today. I even got to sleep in a little. That was heavenly!

I put some base cabinets in the kitchen. Had to cut a section out of the back of one so the gas line would work into it.
Then we went to the big town to try to find a top for the cabinets and some paint. Well that was a bust.
Stopped at wally-world on the way back home and got school supplies and grabbed a bite for lunch.
Changed the linens on my bed and washed, dried and put them away.
Weed eated around the yard till I ran out of string.
Put a bunch of junk into the back room.
Washed a couple of sinkfuls of pretty dishes.
Moved the old pie safe from the kitchen to the living room. Not really liking where it wound up at. Will probably move it again tomorrow.
Set up trash pickup service to start next Tuesday.
Dad stopped by and finished weed eating for me. I sent him home with a couple of boxes of old photos.
Ate a little bite for dinner. We did our "fend for yourself" night. I think those are our favorites. LOL
Oh I nailed the fence wire back to the wood gate posts. And swept up all our grass trimmings and put them in the wagon to go in the compost pile tomorrow.
Have been checking out my farmgirl calendar to see who has b-days and anniversaries coming up. I have it printed out and ready to start on tomorrow.
And I've had my shower, yapped on the phone and am about ready for bed.

Hope ya'll have a great night and an even better tomorrow.

Hugs~ Melanie
