Posted - Feb 02 2010 : 2:07:31 PM I need to replenish my supply of window cleaner. Does anyone use ammonia? If so, what ratio to water do I need to use?

Posted - Feb 16 2010 : 12:59:07 PM I use about 1/2 cup vinegar and the rest water in an old windex spray bottle. I also put in some kind of essential oil, I like citrus. I use this for cleaning my windows, mirrors, countertops and stove. Vinegar is a good degreaser, as is the citrus. Vinegar also has some antimicrobial properties.

Posted - Feb 16 2010 : 11:43:22 AM Just as an update, I made a bottle of this and I love it! The smell is a little off putting, but I think it works great!
