We have done this in the past where everyone comes here to detail all that they have gotten done today. Not only does it help keep you on track by feeling more accountable, but it also shows how each of those little tasks throughout the day really do add up to a lot accomplished!

I am still feeling under the weather today but I can lounge on the couch and fold laundry or other small things.

So today I have picked up all the toys in Nora's room
Stripped and remade Nora's bed (she helped it was sooo cute!)
started 2 loads of laundry
Vacuumed Nora's room
Doug got up and I told him that if he was going to sit and watch TV he HAD to fold laundry. To my surprise he said yes, so even though I didn't do it...at least 3 washings of laundry have been folded and guess what- I am going to go get him some more!!!
I also have washed at least 3 sinkfuls of dishes (Guess who didn't do dishes while I was in Wyoming...)

Our hot water in the bathroom won't turn off so we are doing this weird ballet dance of turning off the water main to let the water heat- taking a shower and getting water run to clean with- then shutting off the main. Or sometimes we have to let it run and I have been heating water on the stove all morning to wash dishes.

Hi everyone! Today I have done the breakfast dishes. Sent son off to school with a packed lunch. Sent hubby off to work with his packed lunch. I have dusted the t.v. room. Got my mother washed and cleaned. I talked to my "Mother" bread starter and fed her. I have also made the beds. I have ran the sweeper in the tv room also. I have wiped the main bathroom down (very quickly) and tossed the dirty laundry down the shoot to be washed later. Wow girls I have got more done than I thought...guess I will have to take a coffee break!lol

Hi all, I worked yesterday at the diner....ugh... That was a chore within itself! LOL But when I came home, I cleaned, dusted, straightened, and vaccumed our bedroom. It was nice and fresh and the windows were open giving it a lovely smell. Then I went through my dresser and pulled out a at least 10 things that I haven't worn in forever, goiving thoses to goodwill this week.

That was pretty much it. :)

Today I did:

Made bread and peanut butter cookies
Laundry including bedding
Completely vaccuumed, dusted, cleaned under and over, and scrubbed my floor in the great room.
Scrubbed, cleaned under and over and all around in my mud room.

Now I am here with you all and drinking a nice cup of green tea with lemon and honey.

Wonderful day.

Give thanks to yourself everyday for all the wonderful things you do!

This morning, we all overslept, so we missed church.

I went to Goodwill and scored on a few good things! Afterwards I went grocery shopping.
When I got home, I started the laundry. While we were waiting for the washer to finish, I removed the tags from my morning's adventure and also put away the groceries. The boy child cleaned his room (I know, I almost fell over from shock.) and he threw out quite a few bags of junk. The girl and I took all of her clothes out of her room and threw them into the good old "keep-donate-toss" out piles. She kept everything that she absolutely loves and got rid of the rest.
Tonight, I baked cookies and I am still folding laundry. We ended up with one giant bag of clothes for a friend and four bags of clothes to be donated.

So far today I have:
*Gone to church
*Gotten one load of laundry folded and another going
*Cleaned and organized the WHOLE play room. That took a lot of time and I got a box ready for Goodwill and a small bag of garbage from that
*Vacuumed the playroom
*Swept the kitchen
Now it's off to more chores. I want to get the whole upstairs clean today and tomorrow and then start on the downstairs. I am having a friend and her daughter over on Friday and also having my brother over Friday night to help celebrate his birthday so the house HAS to be clean by then!

So far:

I have written my step-sons mother a letter of concern about his increasingly poor performance at school. That was a lot b/c I'm afraid of what she will come back with.

Made blueberry muffins for the kids this morning

did a light straighten up so I don't come home to a horrible mess this afternoon! :)

Have a productive day all,
Jamie

Thanks Jamie!

I really have to kick it into high gear now. There is someone that was interested in this place according to the landlord so the sooner I can get the house cleaned up, the sooner the landlord can show the house to prospective new tenants. So today cleaning with an eye towards packing is going to be the key. I think as soon as Doug gets up, we will go find some boxes and I will have him start packing while I start cleaning.

Now I am wishing I hadn't unpacked my pictures and things about a month ago! Darn!

Don't be too hard on you Alee!! :P You are managing quite a few things very well. Family [with a young one], school, and packing stuff. That's a lot and I'm sure there's more! Plus, Micro Econ doesn't sound to entertaining. :)

Hugs,
Jamie

Oh I feel like I wasted the day. Got lots of laundry done and some loads of dishes. Also limped through a homework assignment. Ugh. I hate Micro Econ. I need to put more effort into the class.

That's great Jamie! I am now in the middle of a moving situation so things are going to get hectic around here! At least things will start going into boxes so ideally I will have less to clean up at least until moving is done!

HI....It's Thursday morning!!! The house still looks pretty good! That makes me happy. Zach and I have really been working hard on cleaning up one set of toys before he is allowed to break out another. It's kinda working...

I only have laundry to do this morning. DH went ahead and did a load this morning while I was still snoozing away. He's a sweety sometimes ;). Collectively we have decided that doing laundry in the mid-week [if time allows] is really the way to go. I can't stand piles of laundry to do on a weekend, we just don't have time on the weekends....Much more fun stuff to do!

Later Ladies!! {{Hugs}} Jamie

I got up early this morning and did three loads of laundry and got them out on the line before getting the girls to school and myself to work. The first laundry on the line of the season- we are suppose to have a high of 43 today- yeah- it felt so great hanging things out and hearing the birds starting to sing!
I also, did dishes, folded some laundry, cut cardstock for Katie's graduation invites, took the dog out a few times- a few other things got done. I'm off this afternoon and so I'm hoping to get a lot more done before church this evening!
Yeah Spring!!

Here is what I have done today -

I got on the internet, checked my emails, and visited here this morning.
I went outside and walked around.
I took a bucket of scraps to the compost pile.
I fed the chickens some scrap bread.
I took a shower.
I washed two dirty house-coats/robes.
I hung and folded my clothes that wear on the laundry rack so I could hang up the house-coats/robes.
I hung the house-coats/robes on the laundry rack to dry.
I put in a load of dark-colored clothes to soak and wash.
I made some Taco Salad meat with some hamburger that was in the fridge needing to be cooked. We will eat that tomorrow since we are eating Chicken and Noodles today.
I mended a hole in a pair of jeans that I have been altering for my cousin.
I finished packaging some things that I need to mail, one book for a person from paperbackswap and a book that I swapped a farmgirl here for a Mary Jane's magazine (I can't wait to get it!!!).
I sat down and I colored in a coloring book (just for fun).
I jumped on the mini-trampoline for a few minutes a couple of times throughout the day.
I listed some items for sale on blujay.com.
I hung the load of dark-colored clothes around the house to dry.
I am ready to end my day soon. Before I go to bed, I will put away the food from supper, I will eat a little snack, wash my face, and brush my teeth.

Good-night,
Belle
I might post here again tomorrow.

I learned how to download my pics from my new digital camera to the computer (that my darling kids got me for my birthday back in November) and my DD, Laura, helped me get signed up on Photo Bucket and I posted my first pic here at MaryJanes! Now I can start doing more at my blog and Facebook (which was the motivation of my son to get me the camera in the first place, so I'm told!) Boy, am I going to have fun now! hehehehe Oh, and I also finished another neck scarf, looked at a few dishes that need washing, ran a load of clothes through the washer, and fed my cats. Now it's bedtime - Good night, everyone!
