Posted - Jan 22 2008 : 10:15:00 AM Hi farmgirls, Perhaps this cleaning method has already been discussed; if so, it's a great topic to bump! We have a chrome kitchen faucet (Peerless) & in the 10 yrs we've had it installed, we've had to replace all the gaskets & "O" rings more than once from the mineral build-up. (Peerless replaces @ no charge) It's gotten to the point though, that the chrome no longer looks good from the mineral build-up, but I don't/won't use harsh chemicals. I called Peerless to get new chrome & was surprised to learn that I could get the mineral build-up off by heating distilled white vinegar & pouring it over a towel wrapped around any chrome part that had mineral build-up. WOW!!! Really works. It may take more than one application, but no scrubbing & the stuff comes right off! Awesome, looks nearly new!

XOXO, Libbie
