Posted - Dec 27 2006 : 07:08:30 AM actually the karo makes the icing smooth and shiny...but the pearlized look is from luster dust...a LOVELY cookie/cake decorating powder. Comes in all colors. at the bottom of that post are some links to great places to purchase such things. Of course if you have a cake decorating supply place locally, they should have it as well.
I will tell her you thought they were pretty. She is looking foward to doing Valentine cookies next. ANd of course we will do pictures.
