FINALLY...we have a cost and we can begin to order the cookbooks. I have seen the digital proof and will have a book in my hands by Thursday. Then it will be printed and hopefully be in the mail by late next week!! I have a work party ready to wrap and tape!
Because time is short before Christmas, I will mail off copies before receiving your money. I am trusting you all...and so is my VISA!!

The cookbook cost is $9.01 each.

Now comes the fun (frustrating) part. Canada Post has a fuel surcharge depending on where the book is sent to, ie. it is cheaper to send to Washington state from here than it is to Florida. So...you are all going to have to figure out your postage costs (sorry about that). Log on to www.canadapost.ca and click on "Rates" on the left side of your screen.

Here's the info you need:
The originating postal code will be V9C 4C1 (where the book is being sent "from").
The weight of EACH book is .267 kilograms. So double or triple this depending on how many copies you want (get out the calculators).
The dimensions are 9" x 6" x .5" PER book (this you can enter in imperial measurements). So if you want two, the package dimension will be 9" x 6" x 1".
Click submit and you will be given your options/costs of how you want your book(s) shipped.

Email me for my mailing address and to submit your order. Don't forget to let me know how you want your book(s) shipped, ie. surface, air, expedited, xpress.

You can send me a cheque/check or money order or whatever is easiest for you. Regretably I don't have paypal. Also, you can most definitely submit in Canadian funds which will help a little.

If you have any questions or problems, please email me.

Diane

Diane, I apologise if you've already told me... I can't remember whether you have confirmed receiving payment from me?

Perhaps you could email anyone whose payment hasn't come? I sure would want to know!

XO,
Ann

Hi Diane:

I got my three cookbooks today and cannot wait to get started with the recipes. My husband is recovering from a surgery on his hernia that he had today, so I will be doing a lot of housebound stuff like cooking and cleaning (anyone want to help clean my sewing closet??)for the next few days. Thank you for all of your hard work. It looks great!

Sheryl-lyn

P.S. Did the money thing work out? I made the check out for dollars. Was it enough? If not, please let me know and I will send another check ASAP.

Diane - today I finally sent my payment. I did as you directed and sent a check and marked it Canadian funds. Let me know if there is a mess-up of any kind, and I will fix it.

I am absolutely loving the cookbook. I gave one to my daughter and showed her her recipe. It was a surprise entry that I submitted in her name. She was really excited.

Thank you again for all your hard work, and let me know when you get my payment and if I did it right!

I got mine! The post was actually quicker (8 days) than the domestic priority mail before Thanksgiving! lol - Payment is in the mail. :)

I love everyones personal little stories included with the recipes. I always wished I had a farmgirl friend next door to share kitchen secrets with and now it almost seems like I do. Thank you for taking on this project Diane. :)

I have exactly 12 cookbooks left this morning. Has anyone heard from Julia (Blueroses)? She wanted two, but hasn't responded to my emails, so I guess hers will be put up for sale. I hate to do that.
Mary Ann and Sheryl-lyn I will email you.
Hugs,
Diane

Hi! Is it too late to get a cookbook? I'd like to order one for myself and my mom (and my daughter if possible). I will send the money order or check to you tonight if you let me know. If not--I understand that I waited too long! :( Thanks. Sheryl-lyn

I think I have to have this one, too. The post about cannellini beans and tomatoes sounded like someone was looking in my cupboard!

I'll e-mail you, Diane!

I got my cookbooks yesterday and they are FANTASTIC! What a great job you did, Diane, putting these together. Also the artwork is fabulous. I am giving these to my nearest and dearest for Christmas and I think they will be pleased.

I spotted two recipes for corn casserole or corn pudding that my daughter will be so happy to have in a cookbook, she is always looking for the recipe card that my stepmother wrote out for her on two different occasions (and I think the recipes in the cookbook are very close to the two different variations!)

I am so thrilled to have been a part of this.

I just parted with two of my three cookbooks to loved ones whose recipes I used in the book, and it was hard not to grab them out of their hands and say "Mine!" They are very well done, and I am pleased as punch to have participated. Thanks to all you wonderful farmgirls for sharing!

Diane - okay girl.....the cookbook is so great!!!!! I got my five today, and I have not sent my money yet, but do not worry. I will soon, as I, like so many others, must figure out how to get it to you correctly. You sent me a great email explaining things and I will use that for a guide. So, remember, I will pay! Farmgirls are women of their word. Truly, I love the cookbook, and cannot wait to make it a gift to others. You ROCK!!!!! It is the best.

Diane,

I went to the Post Office to pick up my books today. Thank you so much!!!! They are great. What a lot of work you put into this project. One is for me and the other two are gifts. Thank you. The cat is doing better, but I have to watch the aggressive one constantly. What fun.

Debbie

I received my cookbook yesterday and I was amazed! Wow Diane, it's just wonderful! There's so much info in it, and you got it all put together in such a short time. You did a great job and I appreciate it so much. It's really a lot of fun to look through the recipes and actually know who submitted them! I sent my $ off to you last week, so let me know if it arrives ok. Thanks again! Hugs, Lu
