Posted - Mar 01 2012 : 08:22:11 AM Saw this on King Arthur Flour site. Wash Kale and tear into bite size pieces. Toss with garlic oil and a little salt and bake at 250 for avout an hour. Has anybody tried this. Might help with the crunchy, salty cravings and actually be good for me Michele

Posted - Mar 01 2012 : 9:01:15 PM Just be sure, when you tear the leaves up, not to include any of the vein that runs through each leaf. I made this mistake once and they didn't taste very good at all! Cindy

Posted - Mar 01 2012 : 6:12:44 PM We did this with kale and spinach my family's Super Bowl party and it was AMAZING! I was popping them like potato chips. I've been making a batch about once a week now with whatever greens I have. Totally takes care of my chips cravings!

Posted - Mar 01 2012 : 2:48:11 PM I tried it once. I think I may have used too much oil. The "chips" were kind of soggy and gross. I'd say use less oil than you think is enough. |

Posted - Mar 01 2012 : 11:45:59 AM I tear up the kale and put them in a big bowl. In a separate bowl, I whisk together garlic and onion powder, tamari, tahini, and a little cayenne powder. This gets drizzled over the kale and tossed to cover. Then it goes into my dehydrator until crisp. It's so good and we eat it like popcorn.
