Posted - Aug 30 2006 : 3:21:20 PM sometimes when I cut into a peach and remove the pit there are little white fuzzy spots where the pit was...does anyone know what this is? Is the peach still okay to eat?

Posted - Aug 31 2006 : 05:47:54 AM really? I usually find them in the ones from the store vs locally...hmm! I was thinking it had something to do with the age too.

Posted - Aug 31 2006 : 03:54:06 AM I'm with Julie. I still eat the peach. I just cut off the white spots. I wonder if it has someting to do with the age of the peach. I usually find the white spots in peaaches I have picked locally, not in the ones from the store.
