Posted - Sep 30 2011 : 1:08:08 PM I'd like to do something with a combination of apples and blueberries for waterbath canning. Anyone have any recipes? I've tried to find some online with no success so far!
Thanks, Carolyn Ann

Posted - Oct 05 2011 : 4:46:00 PM Well, I experimented! I used a blueberry-rhubarb jam recipe, and it turned out great. You're right, tho . . . the blueberries do overpower the apples, but it did turn out good.
I'd made some chutney a couple days before, using the rest of the Empire apples I had. That turned out good too :-)
Thanks, Carolyn Ann
