I substituted finely cut swiss chard leaves for our bean burritos (in place of lettuce). It's pretty good.

I also canned banana peppers with a jalapeno pepper in each jar. I just used some of them in place of store canned chili peppers, and it was delicious in my egg/cheese dish. Yum!

Just wanted to share.

Kristina, it has been years since I canned much, since the kids left for college, but what pressure & time did you use. I know I need to even get out my canning book and see if I am asking the correct questions. Pardon...whatever info would be helpful to me. Thanks!
