Posted - Jul 01 2006 : 12:32:30 PM Does anyone remember ice milk? They used to sell it at all the grocery stores and it didn't have the extreme vanilla taste, it was just light and milky tasting? I don't think that low-fat ice cream tastes the same way.

Posted - Jul 03 2006 : 7:49:28 PM Ice milk was lighter than ice cream. I think it was an olden version of what is now labelled "low-fat" etc. but it had a really nice taste and was, as most things were back then, more on the natural side (if not actually good for you).

Posted - Jul 01 2006 : 7:01:08 PM My grandma bought ice milk more than ice cream....I was looking for some recently too, lower fat without quite so much processing. I liked anything cold, frozen and sweet, so it was all good!

Posted - Jul 01 2006 : 1:06:18 PM Nope, just came in a carton like regular ice cream. Stores have stopped selling it. It was my favorite growing up. That & neopolitan.
