Posted - Oct 29 2010 : 06:16:39 AM We're trick or treating in our neighborhood this year b/c Halloween falls on a Sunday so my niece and nephew won't be coming in from Indy. My fil and mil are coming over, so I wanted to make something warm and toasty for supper, but not so involved I can't enjoy giving out candy and walking around.
What are your favorites?
Pioneer Woman posted a recipe a few days back for a corn chowder that sounded really good, and I thought I'd make some pumpkin muffins to go along with it...but I'm totally open to suggestions!!!

Posted - Oct 29 2010 : 06:19:38 AM We always have a household of folks over and I make a pot of chili and put out lots of different things to dress it up--rice, cheese, corn chips, onions, green pepper, cheese, sour cream and of course, lots of cornbread. My boys always decorate some halloween type cookies.
