Posted - Jul 16 2010 : 11:10:07 AM They are getting along great. He follows Mona around like a shadow and she just loves him...licks him and plays like him like he is a calf. He is really freindly with people too...a nice plus for such a little guy. My kids adore him. We named him Stewie. That stinks that you got skunked this year too!!

Posted - Jul 15 2010 : 8:32:55 PM I always have added some water...you can just get it off easily afterwards...it separates from the fat. I hate how it makes my house smell but beef fat makes the best soap for sure.

Posted - Jul 15 2010 : 10:13:32 AM If you are doing it in a slow roaster I would not think so. I don't usuall y even if I do it on the stove-you just have to do it low & slow.
