Posted - Jun 01 2010 : 8:51:26 PM I was going to grill peaches on Memorial day, but my dear son only built a lazy, wimpy fire for the grill, and it burned out before I could get to the peaches. I was going to serve them with this recipe 1/2 cup butter 1/4 cup blackberry preserves 2 Tb minced basil
I got it from a magazine I added some blackberries to give more flavor. The little mixture is sitting in the fridge. I can think of a ton of things to do with it, but nothing grabs me. Any ideas?? I could even cream it with sugar as the base of a small cake/ coffeecake , right? Thanks, Y'all!! Mary LD

Could you broil the peaches? That sounds so good. Or make some scones :)
