Posted - Apr 14 2006 : 11:29:54 AM 1 pound linguine 3 chopped shallots 4 cloves garlic pressed Fresh parsley, chives Kosher salt black pepper zest of one lemon 12 stems of asparagus cut in one inch pieces 1/2 half lemon Cook the pasta and when it is almost done saute all other ingredients except 1/2 lemon in pat of real butter and 1 tbsp olive oil When pasta is done, combine all ingredients, toss to coat, squeeze half lemon over pasta and serve. YUMMY of course salt and pepper are to taste
I just "invented" this for lunch.
