Posted - Dec 20 2009 : 09:57:46 AM I went in search of a list this morning of products that contain HFCS - so I could save a little time in my shopping and learn what to avoid (I'm trying to cut out corn syrup from my life). I found a list in progress at http://www.accidentalhedonist.com/index.php/2005/06/09/foods_and_products_containing_high_fruct. If anyone else has a list going, I'd love to see it. Thanks!

Posted - Jan 02 2010 : 4:36:44 PM Shop the outside aisles of the grocery. Where the dairy, produce & meat are. If you do not go down the aisles(except for olive oil & the occasional borax, ..wink) you will greatly minimize the HFCS in your life.(of course stay away from sugary dairy products, yogurts etc!) |

Posted - Jan 02 2010 : 4:07:01 PM Wow, that's a bummer about the list. It was still there a few days ago. Oh well, maybe I'll stumble upon another one of these days. You're right though, nothing beats reading labels.

Posted - Jan 02 2010 : 1:52:30 PM oh no! the list is gone... i also try to stay away from HFCS. I don't have a list going (i'm sure it's very long!), just try to check ingredients when I shop. i also try to stay away from any vegatable and soybean oil in the ingredients list. it's tough, but it has forced me to do more homemade baking and cooking, which i love!
