Posted - Sep 30 2009 : 5:43:09 PM I have some pickling cukes that I just picked that are somewhat past their ideal harvest date-they have turned a bit yellow, but are still firm. Can I successfully make these into bread & butter pickles or will they not work out?

Posted - Oct 01 2009 : 07:11:43 AM If they are still firm, there should be no problem. I have pickled several yellow one over the years. I have even seen recipes that call for firm, yellow cucumbers. |
