Wanting to make pancakes or bread and have no eggs. Did you know that you can substitute one tablespoon of vinegar to one egg? It works. I have done this for many years, and you will not be able to tell the difference. Bread turns out fine as well as the pancakes. But of course I prefer eggs. Having been a missionary you find ways to get around the lack of certain things. The same is true for those who live in the country, but do not have their own eggs. This has stayed with me for many years. Hey, who knew vinegar could be so wonderful for so many things. LOL

I knew you could substitute gelatin for an egg...but not vinegar.

Thanks a lot for the tip, Sheri!

I never knew that. Thanks for sharing Sheri. I have used 1 heaping Tablespoon Soy Flour and 1 Tablespoon water as a replacement for eggs in baking and that works fine :) I love learning new tips :)
