I just posted pictures and the recipe of the peach preserves I made this weekend on my blog. This was my first time making anything like this and I am sooo happy with the results. Tammy

Thankyou girls, I was very proud of myself! What a good idea about putting it over cream cheese or using it as a glaze. I hadn't thought of that!

I have 2 peach trees and although a late frost killed off this years harvest, we make a lot of peach jam. One of my faves is to add some cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg to it. It is so tasty on a winter day!

I also make some with red chile peppers (dried) in it. Its a nice spicy glaze for meats and its really yummy poured over a block of cream cheese and served with crackers. I also like it with peanut butter!

I am glad you had success!

I made peach preserves last summer and they turned out great - your recipe seems much easier though. And didn't they turn out pretty?

I really liked you blog, too. I'll be checking back for sure.

Tammy, Your peach preserves looks great and the recipe sooooo easy. I've made strawberry jam and some raspberry jams and they are just like the recipe for the peach. When I make my jams/preserves I always make a dozens jars and give them away for gifts with a loaf of homemade bread and naturally keep some for myself. I'll have to make some peach preserves.

Hey Tammy,
I just got 2 bushel of peaches and this recipe just might make me happier than if I put them all up as is :) Love you blog by the way.

Looks great, Tammy! The recipe is so easy, too. I'll try that one when the peaches come in here.
