Posted - Feb 07 2009 : 2:20:56 PM I will be attempting the potato and Ham BakeOver from the Farm Kitchen issue in an hour or so. This will be my first attempt at a BakeOver and I would love any tips/tricks from you gals! I'll be using a cast iron skillet, as it is the only thing I have right now to accommodate the recipe. :) Wish me luck!

Posted - Feb 09 2009 : 09:48:52 AM Bakeovers are great! I'm glad it turned out yummy :-) I don't have a pan that can go into the oven, so I just dish it all up into a shallow casserole and put the biscuit dough on top, sometimes I flip it over, sometimes not.
I made a really yummy one the other night with some leftover stew- boy that basic bakeover crust is de-licious!

Posted - Feb 07 2009 : 4:30:56 PM No real tips or tricks, Mary. Just follow the directions and it will turn out perfect. I used my cast iron pan, too and it worked beautifully. So, how'd it turn out?
