Posted - Dec 21 2008 : 4:25:31 PM Not to make my sugar cookies so thin next time! I have lost about a third of my baking to breakage!!!
But the rest are iced and decorated with sprinkles. I am pretty happy, all told. Family is getting goodie bags this year from me!

Posted - Dec 22 2008 : 06:02:12 AM I always thought sugar cookies were supposed to be thick, but my husband really likes them thin and crispy. Just like his dad used to make :) |

Posted - Dec 21 2008 : 7:58:24 PM I learned a few years ago that my sugar cookies baked up nicer & tasted much better when I rolled them out a little thicker too. They are a lot easier to decorate also. I plan to make a double batch tomorrow, so I'll have to remember not to roll them too thin too.
