Posted - Nov 04 2008 : 10:31:09 AM I just took a quick look at the site to add it to my fav's...does anyone know how long it will store and where to store it? (frige/pantry?) It probably tells somewhere on the site that I overlooked!

Posted - Oct 31 2008 : 04:42:54 AM Arrow Root powder is a healthier alternative to the Cornstarch. It is also used as a thickener just like cornstarch and works great. It can be found at any health food store.

I'd leave out the cornstarch because the corn it was made from more than likely is GMO. Unless of course you can get organic,non-GMO cornstarch.

Posted - Oct 12 2008 : 3:29:59 PM I think cream of tartar is a by product of wine making. It is like the residue of the process...I wish I could make that sound better, but that's the jest of it. |

Posted - Oct 12 2008 : 07:26:09 AM That's neat. I'll have to pick up some cream of tarter. What exactly is cream of tarter?

Posted - Oct 11 2008 : 9:29:23 PM I had to make my own once in a pinch....I think I used that same web site! Its amazing how many "bad" things are in something as simple as baking powder....I should just make my own all the time! Thanks for the reminder!!! |
