Yum -- those all sound good! I always just put whipped cream on it; I'll have to give these other options a try.

The recipe I have has you taken some of the cream filling and folding it into whipped cream...

We always used either whipped cream, or meringue...when you make the pudding for the banana pudding part, you use the egg yolks and then whip the whites with some sugar and put that on top and then bake in a hot oven til it's golden.
