Posted - Aug 18 2005 : 4:59:55 PM I plan to can some up this year too..I always can up chili and stew, and have done plain beans (pintos and red beans) but will try some baked beans this year. My family really likes them. I know my husband would love to take them for his lunch too..good idea Arlene. I would need to do pints though. (4 kids at home and husband who really really loves beans) I use more pint jars than most anything else.
