Posted - Dec 12 2007 : 08:47:54 AM hi :) I got a country ham today and i plan to cook it in my crockpot this weekend so it is super tender. I wondered if anyone had ever cooked one in crockpot ?

Posted - Dec 12 2007 : 09:26:26 AM I'm not sure I'd recommend that, Lisa. I don't think you'd get the right texture for a country ham. Other porks and meats work great in crock pots, but as you know a country ham is a whole 'nother thing. They're practically a work of art. :)
I used to work for these people: http://virginiatraditions.com/Default.asp?bhcd2=1197480254
If you call they will help you whether it's their ham or not.
Good luck!
