Posted - Jul 13 2005 : 1:32:38 PM Does anyone have a recipe for oven-toasted corn (cut off the cob and blanched, then toasted) in cream sauce? My grandma used to make it and it was wonderful. She didn't leave a recipe. |

Posted - Jul 14 2005 : 08:27:40 AM My Mom makes nummy cream corn but she doesn't toast it. Just cuts the corn off the cob and freezes it.
She just takes the corn and sautes it a couple minutes in butter then adds milk, four and salt and pepper and lets it simmer until it's thickened.
