Yup, you guessed it! Robin . . . aka "Birdie" (my daughter)and I are at it again. This time in Flagstaff, Arizona. It's a 5-hr. drive for me and a 2-hr. drive for her from Phoenix. Since it's a holiday weekend and she has extra time off we decided to build our "girl fort" again and have some girlie glamp time together.

So, we'd love to have you join us on yet another adventure, even if it can only be in spirit!

Bramble is READY!! "Okay, when can we go??"

Mr. Cock-a-doodle Blue always goes along too and this is where he rides in the car.

If you're in the neighborhood, stop by . . look for this sign!

Looking forward to sharing this adventure with you as well. Hope you'll join us!
Thanks much!
CJ and Robin

Heather,
Used Velcro dots, the self-adhesive kind, but I did reinforce the adherence with a small dab of Alleene's 7800 All-Purpose adhesive.
Takes time, but it's worth the effort. They go all around the fly sides and back and on three sides on the inside. The front lace are actually valances curtains that just very snugly tuck up under the fly over the curved tent pole.

Yes, Margo, it is the Evanston 6 person with screened porch . . . it's PERFECT for Robin and me and we LOVE IT!!!!!

As with any "size" rating, there is NO WAY you can put SIX people in there comfortably and they would be next to each other, NO ROOM for mattresses, luggage or anything.
Happy researching!

Forgot about this pic of our cat, Skye, enjoying the shade of one of my glamping suitcases after I unpacked it and turned it upside down on the deck to get the glampsite sand/dirt/pine needles out.

My daughter, Robin . . . aka "Birdie" . . . and champion glamping partner and best friend.

She's a teacher, it's September, she has a bit of work she has to do . . in her jammies! What can I say except she is the BEST TEACHER ever!

And, we went out for dinner our last night. She decided to make a fashion change and this is her cute, cute outfit!
I wore the same outfit of silk, longsleeved blouse with broomstick skirt in dark teal/navy tones with black western boots and my teal colored western hat.

This little enamel pail contained our "S'mores Kit" when we visited Mary Janes Farm last summer and stayed at the Outpost B&B. I decided it would make a great pail for our herbs, spices, and seasonings for our glamping. That way it all stays dry and protected and I know where everything is.
(We use real cloth vintage tablecloths on our picnic table where we cook and eat . . and, of course, aprons abound!)

Gracie . . that little "teepee" shaped tent is cute but I can imagine it was chilly and not too cushy!

Nini . . . come on over! You can play with us . . 'twould be wagon loads of fun!

I sure wanna go again, but it'd have to be by myself. I AM enjoying being outdoors though now that it's cooler and a beautiful Colorado Fall.

I know I share a lot about my doggie, Bramble, but she IS the best pal and glamper dog.
When she goes to bed she goes to bed . . not much moving around in the night and is very quiet.
And, she is NOT a morning "dog" . . .

Bramble in bed!

Bramble . . . still in bed!!

Okay, I'm up!
Oh wow, the sun is up too!

So much fun to read about! And it is the first time I have seen the old autotag farmgirl number signs! How clever and cute!

I have been to Sedona, Flagstaff and the Canyon and it was one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken. So glad you girls had fun! (and as far as your good and bad neighbors....when camping I always thought the best neighbors were just the woods around the camp. Never liked crowded campgrounds...) THanks for showing us the photos!

Living in those Ponderosa pine trees were lots of these fun, frisky and very entertaining Kaibab squirrels. They were so fun to watch!
Bramble was watchful of their antics as well, however, she never ran off to chase them . . good dog!

What can I say? S'MORES . . . with Mary Janes Chocolate, and homemade "marshies" from our own Sharon . . aka "calicogirl".

Because of the fire restriction/dry conditions issues we were unable to have a campfire, however that did NOT slow us down from having some gooey, warm, smooshy, YUMMMMMMMMMMM - YYYYY s'mores!
This is our "gotta-have-em" traditional glamping dessert . . EVERY night!

Fixin' up our PANTRY table. We didn't actually use this table to eat at, but more as a place to set our food items, dishes, linens, etc. We dressed it up by using aprons with napkins in the pockets as a skirt.
Most of the aprons are vintage.
We try to change things up a bit each time we glamp so that there are changes in the way we decorate. Keeps it interesting and fun!
Thanks girls!
CJ

The picnic basket on the end of the table is one that I "grew up with". It was my mother's and we took it on all of our picnics. I can't tell you how delighted I was to be able to claim that treasure.

Okay Farmgirls, come and peek in our cozy little hideaway tent!

This is Robin's bed with her old "wedding ring" quilt, afghans and pillows.

This is my bed with afghans, "Mr. Teddy - my antique bear, ruffled decorator pillow and embroidered pillow. We use sleeping bags (under the pretty stuff) and air mattresses.

A wider view . . .little table with vintage linens we use as our nightstand. Curtain valance overhead, rugs all over the tent floor and the lace border I cut off of a sheet along and just under the window.

The left side of our porch. Curtains attached on the front, rugs, little TV tray with vintage scarf, hatboxes.

From one angle, the whole image. We used Battenburg lace trim along both sides of the rainfly along the edge and over the windows. And, matching curtain valances and swags were tucked up under the edge of the rainfly all along the front edge of the porch.

From another angle . . . vintage suitcases on the porch that we use for various things. The metal suitcase outside is from the 50s and my oldest brother used it to take to college. Old, very worn cowboy boots with a big, silk, pink peony . . they go everywhere with us as decor and a reminder that farming and ranching is work!!

The tent is a Coleman Evanston Weathertec (features to help prevent getting wet and leaky, etc.) 6-person tent. Ideally you can get about THREE glamping farmgirls in it with their fluff and frills. Make that a little less you can get four in. SIX! No way, no how, no matter!
Thanks for letting us share . . . yup, you can nap, but don't miss supper!!!

AND, a gentleman came by the next day, who was just a couple sites away from Diane, and told us that his wife had already gone online researching Mary Janes Farm, glamping and everything we were advertising. He complimented us on it all and THANKED us for sharing it all with them.
AND, they found out their daughters go to the same school in Scottsdale as Diane's granddaughters.
Sharing the fun!
