Posted - Jan 10 2012 : 07:37:17 AM Since the snow has not dumped upon us, I am considering a weekend alone, camping with my hubby. I may spend some time looking to see if any campgrounds are open this month. ![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif) ![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif)

Posted - Jan 17 2012 : 06:20:24 AM Nope... We got snow and freezing weather, and today we have loads of rain. Dh has tummy troubles, two kids are sick and I'm feeling a bit poorly. Plus, my son had to take our oldest dog to the vet this morning. I'm waiting to hear what the check-up resulted with. I am planning a "mystery road trip" for dh. I'm not sure I'll include camping in it yet.

Posted - Jan 11 2012 : 1:20:20 PM So did you go?
I went (see other posts) and it was great. Very quiet except for the horse whinny-ing every time I went in the trailer!

Posted - Jan 11 2012 : 07:35:41 AM The weather forecast this week is rain, rain, and rain/snow mix. The camper we can borrow does have a heater, but rain would prevent us from hiking, cooking outside etc. It's not out of the question yet. :)

Posted - Jan 10 2012 : 10:30:39 AM Go for it Kristi! I'd do that except: 1) our nights are COLD!!!!! and 2): no campgrounds open until May. Our favorite non-campground spots are under several feet of snow and, while some people snow camp . . not this girl. I'm too old for that! Hope you can make it work! CJ
