Since the snow has not dumped upon us, I am considering a weekend alone, camping with my hubby. I may spend some time looking to see if any campgrounds are open this month.
Lucky you.... here it is still bone chilling cold,,, not much snow this year,,, but we have been getting rain off & on.... so pretty slouschy & muddy! I have 5acres of mud...and nearly sink up to my ankles when walking out to the ManCave-barn.... yuck!

Go for it Kristi! I'd do that except: 1) our nights are COLD!!!!! and 2): no campgrounds open until May. Our favorite non-campground spots are under several feet of snow and, while some people snow camp . . not this girl. I'm too old for that! Hope you can make it work! CJ

The weather forecast this week is rain, rain, and rain/snow mix. The camper we can borrow does have a heater, but rain would prevent us from hiking, cooking outside etc. It's not out of the question yet. :)
Nope... We got snow and freezing weather, and today we have loads of rain. Dh has tummy troubles, two kids are sick and I'm feeling a bit poorly. Plus, my son had to take our oldest dog to the vet this morning. I'm waiting to hear what the check-up resulted with. I am planning a "mystery road trip" for dh. I'm not sure I'll include camping in it yet.
