Hi Nancy,
I sent an email to your badger email address. If you wanted to donate a book to the library we would sincerely appreciate it! A couple sisters have donated a book or two which is always nice.
Thanks,
Brian

Hi, Brian!

I will check my library! How about Montrose:Life in the Garden? Is that one still available?

If I buy a copy of Woe is I, can I donate it to the library when I am finished?
Brian Posted - Apr 23 2021 : 3:03:49 PM
Hi Nancy,
I deleted your mailing address from your post since it's not something you want hanging out on the internet. I have some unfortunate news. It looks like our copy was checked out a couple years ago and never returned. Do you have a local library that can possibly try to do an inter-library loan for you?
Thanks,
Brian

Our new 2018 Merit Badges were revealed in our January 2018 Sister Issue (make sure to check them out!) and because some badges require reading specific books, we've added the following books to our Merit Badge Lending Library (they've also been added to the top of this thread as well):

For Sisters and Farmerette Badges

Reading, ’Riting, ’Rythmatic (Expert): Read Math Doesn’t Suck by Danica McKellar.

Carpe Cocoa: Seize the Chocolate! (Beginner): Read The True History of Chocolate by Sophie D. Coe and Michael D. Coe.

For Young Cultivator Badges

Mmm, Chocolate! (Beginner) Read Smart About Chocolate by Sandra Markle, or No Monkeys, No Chocolate and Chocolate: Riches from the Rainforest by Robert Burleigh.

Mmm, Chocolate! (Expert) Read Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory by Anthony Newley.

Love this idea! Has anyone spoken for "The Hope Chest" book? If so, I'd love to be on the list to read this. When I was a girl we called a dishpack my "Despair Barrel" as I collected items for my first home. Fun to think back on some of those old memories.

Thanks so much for your help, with joining the Hen house. I changed my Password and that sorted the problem.

Was wondering if you got my address OK for borrowing : How to Care for and Preserve Your Collectibles, Heirlooms, and Other Prized Possessions by Don Williams. If not please let me know.

Thanks Joan

Soooo good! If you haven't read this one yet, you should! Working on my Beginner Badge ~ reading it to my mother which helps me earn another badge. She is ailing and has memory problems but she had a horse as a young girl, and that memory is STRONG!
