I just love buttons. I thought it would be fun to do a button swap. Here is how it would work. I will take 9 people besides myself.Mail to me 10 cards of shaped buttons. Something fun. Not just plain buttons. Along with a stamped envelope addressed to yourself with your name as return address too. I will swap out and mail you back 10 cards of buttons. Sign up till I have 9. Then have to me by May 30. Does anyone want to join in the fun?
Hugs,
Elizabeth

Got my buttons yesterday... so exiting!!! Thanks so much to everyone for taking the time to do this. I've been a button collector for more than 20 years and these little treasures will be going into my button drawers tonight.

Thanks again!!!

Not a problem. Have you still not gotten my buttons, Elizabeth? What about Lavendargirl? I know Knewslady has really had some crazy slice of life thrown her way. Kathy/Knewslady I have been thinking of you a lot. Jess

I am sorry, I subscribed to only this topic, and I took your word for the 5/31 thing, as it was the last thing you posted. I tried to make sure you got them on time, yes, maybe I should have gotten them to you earlier...for this I am really sorry. I do not need to be reminded, I just put it on my calendar to have to you by 5/31...as this was what I read last on this. I cannot make the mail delivery system work any faster after the package is out of my hands. I thought I was doing the right thing.
smoothiejuice Posted - May 31 2007 : 09:12:03 AM
Hi Elizabeth, I hope you got my buttons in the mail today, as I believe this is the due date you posted to us...5/31. I am so sorry you have been inconvenienced by my buttons not arriving early. I try to just keep myself subscribed to things I am involved with, and as I was subscribed to this thread, I must have missed the new one you started for this same swap. Oh well, I think I found your other thread and may have posted on it yesterday, but I have not heard from you, so I will assume you will still allow me to be in your button swap. If not, that is really too bad, as my kids and I had so much fun shopping for the buttons, making button cards, and putting them together. Cheers...jess

Hey Tracy it is a store front for handmade items. Lots of people on here have them and are selling some pretty cool stuff. A lot of people have their sites on the bottoms of their posts. Check out what people are selling!n It is fun to see and to buy from people you knkow. Jess

The same postage it takes to send it to me. Put the postage on the envelope.
Thanks,
Elizabeth

I just sent in my buttons today. I think I over did it on the postage but I'd rather have too much than not enough. :) Hopefully it will get to you by Fri.

I have been wondering the same thing...!!!?
ShawnMarie Posted - May 12 2007 : 4:16:18 PM
Any idea on how much return postage we should use? I know how much my buttons weigh in at, but I have no idea how much other people's are going to weigh. I want to make sure Elizabeth has enough.

Thoughts fellow button swappers?

Hardest part of this swap for me will be deciding what to send. The Senior thrift shop had five more baby food jars full for me to buy today and another store has hers packaged in little ziplocs hanging on pegs, so I could pick which I wanted to buy. Thursday being senior 50% discount didn't hurt either :) Oh what fun this will be. I did buy a package of small ziplocs in the craft dept of Walmart to make sorting and sending easiet. I think 100 were $1.46 and they'll hold a set of most buttons that aren't on cards.
