Posted - Feb 22 2007 : 04:30:03 AM usually, homespun is loosely woven. If you use it in quilts of clothing articles, it is best to prewash it.
i have stripes in homespun as well as plaids and gingham.
They add a homey touch to quilts and make great aprons.

Posted - Feb 21 2007 : 2:23:54 PM Homespun is a woven fabric. The pattern is woven not printed. I have only seen varities of checked homespun.
