I have to chime in..I LOVE Grace's yarn. I have ordered enough of her alpaca yarn in the vintage hollyhocks colorway for a pair of socks..havn't got them on the needles yet...but they will be beautiful...I love her stuff!!

I received my package of yarn from Grace a few days ago and I love it! It is so soft and I love the colors. I ordered Zen. I also got some cocoons which are now being displayed in a little glass vase. Thanks so much for the extras. I love the other silk cocoons and the combed silk. really amazing. We had to carefully cut open one of the cocoons that rattled so the kids could see what was inside! They were so interested. I also really like the stamped card. Did you make the stamp yourself? Now I just need to decide what to make with my yarn. I haven't yet used yarn that is that weight. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Just don't want to make socks with it because I want people to be able see it, I love it so much! Thanks again Grace. Keep up the good work.

Got your order this morning Megan - thanks so much. It is already packaged up and ready to go in the mail - we missed this mornings but first thing Wednesday morning. I have slipped in something extra for you - hope you enjoy them. I have been busy dyeing more cocoons in new spring colors and have yarn in the dye pots as I write so check back often - new things always brewing. Thanks again and take care.

I received a lovely package from Grace with an assortment of cocoons for display in a vintgage Wedgwood blue Jasper bowl given to me. Or I might display it in a crystal bowl, whichever shows them off best. Will try to post a photo when it's done. Her items are so wonderful. Yarn is almost enough for me to want to learn to knit :) I left the choosing of what to sell me up to her and her artistic talent is very evident in what she sent. We're lucky to have so many talented farmgirls here, makes me feel like a klutz!

I am so glad that you like my yarn. I so love doing what I do and that it brings you to others. Tell your grandson that sheep is one of my fun things I make. Glad he liked it. If you have a chance to show what you make out of it - I sure would appreciate it. Take care

Beth I am so glad you got Ned! He is such a sweet little guy I think you will love him. I will also put in a bag some of his fiber so you can see and feel him like I know him. The pussy willow is a fun yarn and loads of possibilities. I love Jam and never make it because there just is never enough time. I am always so thankful that there are talented people around who still make homemade jam. I count you in my blessings!

Nance and Jo I am so glad you love the yarn. I know that everywhere else people charge a arm and a leg for yarn but I really want the to make it affordable so they are not going to buy WalMart Yarn. I also work on informing the general public that you really need to support your local artistians, farmers and such because we are bit by bit giving away to other countries our skills, money and time. I can not put into words the joy I get when someone like what I do. I also work on a principle of "Right Livelihood". I believe that if I do good work, price it fair and give back to those I touch - I have a right life. So thank you SO SO SO MUCH for enjoying my work and supporting this "FUNNY FARM"

Nance, I just finished a very long lovely scarf out of my fairy yarn, I'll post a pic next week, right now I'm taking off for a cozy 5 days with my husband.... it is so beautiful!!! The blue green yarn I just can't decide!!! It's really soft, I think another lacy scarf!!! I have lots of fingerless gloves I've knitted, a little tam would be sweet, but I think I want it around my neck.... We need to talk to Grace about her prices, to buy ANYTHING as lovely here is four times as much......... Tell me about yours when you're ready.. jo

Hi Nance and Jo
I wished you could see the big smileon my face while reading your kind posts. This is why I love what I do!! I am tickled that you like what I do and I count my blessing that I can make something that others like. I have not posted the newest yarns yet because Sherlock and Watson have been keeping me very busy. I did have time to post some of my felt that I sell to artists that make all sorts of things out of it - I dye each year around 100 pounds or more of the felt and will be starting another round in a couple of weeks. Well ladies if you have a chance I would love to see the finished projects - no pressure! Thanks again for your wonderful words and your orders.

Greetings, gals. Just got a fiber-filled package from the funny farm! The yarn (called "red clay pots") is lovely and you cannot believe how adorable and beautifully made those acorns are, including the awesome brooch with beads. Can't wait to have some more fun with pointy sticks and string!! Hats off to another truly talented farmgirl!! Nance

Hi Margie I guess it is lost in space. what I wrote was you can easliy open an etsy account - it is free and also you can then go to other sites and purchase and even sell items. If you go back to my site, hit the button(s) to purchase what you wish and then simple follow the directions it is really easy. If you do not wish to do it that way then you can just email me with the order and we can set up payment either thru PayPal or I do take Checks and Money Orders too. Hope that helps and thank you so much for visiting my site. I will check on where that email went. I simply hit the reply button on the email that you sent and according to my computer it went but who knows where it decided to end up. Thankyou for your patience.

Sandy - Thank you so much for the purchase - all packaged up and ready to go in the mornings mail. I am sorry you miss the Winter Mink but that animal is not longer on the planet and I have not been able to duplicate it with other alpaca. SORRY! I do have a shop on the farm and also in a couple of retail stores. I am so glad you like the yarn and there are many more to come. It is just with the kids in the kitchen half of my day is taken up with bottle feeding. Stay warm and get ready for a package.
