Posted - Jan 16 2007 : 8:35:13 PM Alright, all of you "Women Who Knit," I am making a really cute and simple baby bib from "Mason-Dixon Knitting." It's all in garter stitch - and that's going along just fine, but the edges are a little loose - there seems to be an extra little loose loop at the end of each row. Do any of you experienced knitters know how to fix this or to stop it from happening?
Thanks!
XOXO, Libbie

Posted - Jan 17 2007 : 09:42:03 AM That's an ADORABLE baby bib pattern! And Karin's right: Try whatever works and remember that there are no knitting police! (In the words of the Yarn Harlot...)
Have fun with it!

Posted - Jan 17 2007 : 08:35:00 AM Libbie- I find that if I put the needle to the back of the stitch and then knit, it will tighten up that edge a bit. I say just try different things, and whatever works best- go with it!! Good luck.

I'm just a beginner, but that's what my MIL told me to do, as I was having the same problem!
Have fun. Faith
