Posted - Aug 25 2013 : 12:13:03 PM My brother in law bought an as-is house, in which there were hundreds and hundreds of skeins of yarn that he gifted me. I have had the idea to do a giant granny strip for ages. I adore it, but it will be a long time before I attempt anything of this magnitude again!

Posted - Aug 28 2013 : 6:08:45 PM Beautiful jobs Elizabeth! I can imagine that one took a great deal of time. No wonder you'll not be trying such a big project again for awhile. I bet you dream of yarn in your sleep now :)

Posted - Aug 28 2013 : 5:52:24 PM That is a beautiful afghan! Several years ago I did a oversized double crochet hooked one. I love it. Very warm, reversible, and heavy. Never again! I use my double hook for dish cloths only now. |

Posted - Aug 25 2013 : 12:47:50 PM You are to be congratulated on finishing that size of spread. It is very colorful and I can see why you don't want to do another. I've just finished a queen-sized quilt (the second one) and have one more request to fill. I will be so happy when it is finished.
Keep up the good work.
