Posted - Nov 16 2012 : 08:12:12 AM Maybe that's where I'm going wrong because I keep calling them candles.....it's been a long time ago but I can't remember actually burning them. They're probably solid??? I'm experimenting tonight & I'll see if a end up in a mess. LOL Judy

Posted - Nov 13 2012 : 11:14:27 PM Hi Judy,
I am not sure about the candles that you are talking about but I do know about the Applesauce & Cinnamon Ornaments that Annika talked about back in September of 2011. Here is the recipe.
Apple-sauce & Cinnamon Ornaments
3/4 cup applesauce
1 bottle (4.12) ground cinnamon
Mix applesauce with cinnamon to form a stiff dough. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Make hole in top of ornament with skewer or straw. Carefully lay ornaments on rack to dry. Let dry 1-2 days or until dry, turning occasionally. Hang with ribbon, raffia or twine. Makes 12-15 ornaments.
