I just finished a nursing shawl and am getting ready to make the matching baby blanket.

Then I want to make a throw for my Mom.

Pictures of the shawl are on my blog.

What are you working on?

Trying desperately to crochet this acorn dishcloth. I am a beginner, so I have been struggling a bit-- but I refuse to let it conquer me!
I also have about 4 scarves that need finishing up.. I will make today my "Finish Them Already" day!

Hats, hats, ear warmers and some plarn bags to hold the raw material, the bags themselves so that they feed out of the bottom and hang somewhere, also onion and garlic bags.

sushi roll scarf #3. And, I would like to try a sc pattern for hand warmers tonight. I've been using the cut off tops of DH's socks. They work, but I have some pretty yarn I would like to try.

I'm working on an Irish crochet doily with roses in the center and around the edges, making it in black for my niece who is into the gothic style of dressing and decor,it's a little unconventional but turning out to be really pretty.

I'm currently working a few projects. A baby blanket for charity, and a few scarves. I also want to start an afghan for my uncle and his fiancee as an engagement present. I have a few patterns to choose from, it's just a matter of choosing and picking the colors!

Me: crocheted dishcloths for charity (and some knitted ones, too), then onto CGOA Master of Advanced Stitches and Techniques swatches

But I'm not the only one crocheting in my house...

DD (age 14 - and, yes, she's been crocheting for 10 YEARS!): Three afghans currently, a dog sweater that she designed for our sweet little doggy, then she will be joining me on the CGOA Master's journey for the final part of her art classes for homeschool. She's done Fiber Arts 1 and 2 (basic stitches, learning to read a pattern - #1; more new stitches, working in the round - #2), and she's currently doing Fiber Arts 3, which is advanced projects (the three afghans she's currently working on plus one she's already done). Fiber Arts 4 will be the Master's Designation for her, and her swatch book along with photos of her other projects will make a nice portfolio for her.

Diane, great job. They all look really pretty.
Spent this weekend using all the odd skeins on hats. Now what to do with them all? I am going to see if the local cancer treatment center could use some hats.

Just finished a new hat and wristlets out of angora/mohair mixed yarn. They are really soft and being modeled by my gorgeous niece, Faydra. I made them as a surprise thank you gift for a fellow farmgirl.

This is a mobius scarf I made out of a wool blend. Every time I learn a new stitch, I make a scarf out of it. This is the popcorn stitch. Being modeled by my fabulous dress form, Shirley!

You may find a pattern for that scrubbie on ravelry.com. I have made scrubbies purely out of netting, and also some out of kitchen cotton. I never thought to do one with different material on either side! Love that idea. Good luck!

I need to get the helmet liner yarn so I can get that started. I'd like to knit a pair of socks for him too if I can get a pair done. I picked up my df's sock yarn Tuesday, it's a nice dark denim blue color - should look nice with his jeans.

I'm looking for a pattern for a crocheted scrubby - it's cotton yarn on one side and netting on the other side. One of my exchange sisters sent it to me and I can't remember who to request the pattern.

I just finished this Viking helmet hat for my DH! He isn't a MN Viking's fan, but he is Dutch! Now all I have to do is finish the crocheted beard and mustache! He usually doesn't look that crazy, but he was making faces at me when I snapped the photo.
