Posted - Mar 09 2011 : 11:23:37 AM A Long time ago there was a gal on here that had Singer sewing machine parts and new how to tell which model you had. I just got a 1947 singer made in great britan and I need a couple parts and just do not know how to find them any help will be welcome.

I just couldn't get any one to get the right Model.
Ebay is a great think for those things.

Posted - Mar 10 2011 : 08:41:04 AM see if you can type in 1947 singer manual on the web & it might bring up what you need...i know how frustrating it can get with finding parts for older machines...i have a 1930's petal machine that thank goodness came with a box of all its parts...cause I know I would sure have a time trying to find them if I didn't...good luck diana....michele'
