see if you can type in 1947 singer manual on the web & it might bring up what you need...i know how frustrating it can get with finding parts for older machines...i have a 1930's petal machine that thank goodness came with a box of all its parts...cause I know I would sure have a time trying to find them if I didn't...good luck diana....michele'

Hi Diana, if you give me the serial #, I will look it up for you. Then I will know the model, when it was made, etc.

Most parts can be found on ebay- thats where i get my parts from.

Thanks it is a 99k singer and I have found all the parts.

I just couldn't get any one to get the right Model.

Ebay is a great think for those things.
