I just wanted yo to know that I am almost finished with the quilt I have been making from your wonderful scrap donations. I choose to do a crazy quilt with them. I also designed my own stitichwork for it. In the last few months I had to be hospitalized for my depression and it helped working on this project. I just want to thank the ladies who sent me these wonderful scraps. I'm home now and try to make everyday better. Thank you again, my dear farmgirls.![](icons/icon_smile.gif) |

Thank you for replies!
I used some traditional embroidery stitches and embellishments and trim. I created some of the stitch-work myself. I was thinking of using sashing to make the squares stand out more. (I'll wait unitl I finish all the squares (20 together, 15 done). My mom gave me some cool buttons to put on it as well. I call this my healing quilt because it kept busy when I was sick and I hope never to be this sick again. I'm going to keep doing my quilting and painting. My church also has arranged for once a week appointment with an art therapist. Hope to be done soon. Check in with then, Love Giovonnia |
