Okay, ladies, I think I've figured this all out, but if you think of anything else I need to include, let me know and I'll add it. Here's the plan:
1. Each person will make 8 1/2" muslin squares (finished size -- 8")
2. Once everyone signs up, I'll post the number of squares you'll need to complete (we're adding 1 so that we can make a quilt for MaryJane)
3. Each square is to have your real name and your Farmgirl name embroidered on it. You can add something else if you want, but you don't have to. I've seen squares with a small flower, or a embroidered border around the name, or a scripture, etc. Again, anything other than your real name and Farmgirl name is purely optional.
4. All squares will be sent to me. I'll separate them out so everyone gets one each of all the squares, and then I'll send them out to everyone who participated. You will only need to pay the postage to send your squares to me. I'll take care of the postage to send them back out.
Okay, that's all I can think of, so here are the dates:
Deadline for sign-ups by emailing me is the end of the day Tuesday, February 28. I'll email everyone back on March 1 as to how many squares you'll need to make.
Deadline for getting the squares in the mail to me: June 1
My deadline for getting them back to you: within 3 days of receiving all the blocks
Does that sound reasonable to everyone? I know I can't wait to get started. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to either post them here or email me. Thanks!!

I got some blocks today
I got 4 squares out of the 13 I sent I should have 12 as one was for MJ I was wondering if there is another package with my other 8 squares that I made coming back to me.If so is it in the mail and should I expect it in the next day or two.
I don't have one from pattie either

not all swaps are like this cathy the second one went off with out a hitch and pattie has had a real bad year I am currently trying to get a hold of her and have offered to pay all shipping so I can get them and sort them and swap them to every one. People at the farm are trying to help me too. So hopefully this will be fixed soon cross your fingers.

I have not heard anything not even a reply to my email  . I am getting very frustrated with this. If there isn't enough then just send everyone's back to them so we can decide what we would like to do with them. I'd even mail them out to everyone that would like to still swap, it worked out great for the yoyo swap i was in, that would have been much better. this experience will make me thing twice about participating in another swap of this kind. I sure hope we hear something soon this is a little agrivating  . If anyone hears anything please let us all know.

has anyone heard anything on this I am frustrated that it is taking so long and never getting my emails returned. I am hoping someone has heard something to make me a little happier ( I sent 13 blocks in). If we aren't swapping I would like mine back so I can swap individually with people if we are swapping I thought I would have them by now as she said they would be in the mail a few weeks ago according to Happymama58 post on a new topic. Then I noticed she stated she wasn't going to be on the forum any more. Please some one let me know if these are still coming or are my 13 blocks just gone.

Bridge,
I noticed I'm on the list posted on 2-1-07, but I'm not on the initial list. I think something messed up (probably in my brain) and I have not done any quilt squares. I found my posts early on, but I must have blanked after that. I don't even have an address list for the swap. At this point, there is no WAY I can get any blocks done. I'm sorry but thats how it is for me.

On your list 11 is not in the group I replaced her as she was to busy to do this. If you want you could also email 12 and 13 and number 13 from my list and see which are in the group and which aren't. and where they stand on their blocks if they are in the group. There are 13 people not counting mary jane that I know as I had a lot of emails with Patti when I joined in August.
