those are beautiful! it just so happens that alaska is the perfect place for ice art *wink* my neighbor makes outdoor candle holders of ice. she uses a large bucket or any other container that holds water. they are really very simple yet so lovely with a candle in them. with our short winter days she does go thru alot of candles lol. peace connie in alaska |

Oh, I am so hot to try this,......I mean when it is really freezing here I will do this it is so cute. As it melts down the birds would love it. Maybe by Christmas. It is suppose to be real cold this winter.

They are beautiful in drinks. Using them with punches and drinks has been the only way I have seen them used. I dont know why i never made the connecetion between them and outdoor beauty

It should be cold enough here in jan for them to last a few days.I HATE winter so this may be a nice way for me to enjoy the beauty of it a bit.

If you have the time --her whole blog is awesome. SHe does felted stone buttons and crochet work over stones. I plan to play aruond with these ideas later on and crochet over some big rocks for door stops. GODS!! ANOTHER project :P
