Posted - Dec 07 2007 : 07:13:08 AM I found a quick cute pattern for a "warmer" for the neck, that I'm making for my mom out of baby alpaca (in a lovely pink), that I'm going to decorate with vintage rhinestone pins so that she can remove them for washing. The pattern called for bulky alpaca (size 15) but my mom is small and I didn't want it to be TOO bulky for her neck, so I chose baby chunky alpaca, size 11 needles....and it's curling, which I know Stockinette is wont to do....
Can you block it so it doesn't curl? When I fasten the two ends together, I think it will make some difference, but not much. Any ideas?
