Hi all....I thought in all fairness to everyone else on the stitching forum that we should start anew. We were taking up a little too much space on the first page....seemed unfair. So....as before...post your aprons and sewing projects here....also anything else you might have on your mind......express yourself!!!

We are in the process of laying down a foundation for our new "No Borders" farmgirl chapter. You might need to read the last few pages of the old apron thread to catch up on this subject. We are trying to decide upon a name..... see later in this thread for suggestions.

Grace- this has been so enjoyable reading so many post from a few years ago- I wish some of the pics were still there.
Thank you for bringing this back. I have enjoyed it so much!!

Oh My Word,,, I just went back and looked at some of the early posts... seeing names that I no longer see here.... and names of others that I still chat with... and with one I have truly grown to love as a far away sister and we touch base weekly either by email or cell...
Isn't it great to make friends with 'Farm girl sisters of the heart'...

I luv this fabric... I remember how I got my yardage...via a farm girl here on MJF ... I made both an apron and a deco pillow for my vtg. trailer... and of course I made sure my name "Grace" was front & center....
Gosh! I think that was 5 years ago???? How time flies.

Hi Lanna, 36 weeks is almost done, isn't it? How are you feeling?

I'm still around, just busy. Hubby's been working at his job a state away, and coming home every other weekend or so. I'm about 36 weeks pregnant now, still trying to clean/pack the house in anticipation of a move. That, as the universe likes doing funny stuff to us, may not need to happen. Just, yeah. Holy cow. Oh, and gearing up on homeschooling goodies/planning, figuring out several garden plans for various scenarios (whatever shakes down job-wise, again), etc.

I think that you are right. I think that when someone sees the amount of pages, that they just pass it up.

Sharon, thanks for showing us the aprons. They are great! I love the fabrics too!
This topic/thread got so long that maybe it should be started over anyway.
Do ya want to start one that is something like "Aprons & more: sewing, collecting, showing and chatting about"
I can do that and see what happens.
There are many of us that LOVE aprons!

Gals, I am just plum worn out, but doing fine. I really liked these prints as well. The customer runs her own event consulting or planning business. So....she needed a lot of aprons for some southwest cooking event. Each team will have their own print apron.

Sharon, I love them! I made aprons all fall for gifts and orders so I can really appreciate these! Beautiful material! My sister and her friends have horses and are all about western anything. I found some material with bare-chested cowboys in jeans with pickup trucks and made her an apron out of it - it turned out really cute!

I have been busy with school also and trying to get things moving on my etsy site! I am getting a bit buried under wool right now so I am even having a sale!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hello ladies!! It's been too long. I have been busy with schooling the kids and getting ready for the holidays. I do miss coming here and I really miss everyone that used to be on here, too. It's a little lonely here now.

I have been getting so much accomplished. I am thrilled. The house is all decorated and today I got the outside decorated. It was gorgeous here today. It's all clean and now just keeping up until Christmas. You all know how it is.

Linda~glad to see you here. Your puppy sounds so cute. Maybe you can post a picture.

Sharon~how sad for your mom on Thanksgiving. Funny laws!!

Lanna~my heart goes out to you. I can only imagine the weight you bear right now. Praying all works out for you family in your new location.

Monica~Have you moved yet? How is that going? Think of you often.

Hugs,
Ruth

Oh, there's something else that's illegal in the state of Idaho, but it's probably not something to mention for the more sensitive of folk.

The kids and I got a Christmas tree today, and hopefully tomorrow a neighbor will come by and re-saw the end off and put it up in the stand so I don't have to wrestle it. I've been too tired to do much besides keep the kids watered and fed and the fire going today, but that has got to change. Just need to remember to take my iron, that can only help.

Hello everyone, I just got a puppy...she is about 3 lbs now and 3 1/2 months old. Chorki means Chiuhuahua and Yorkie...she will stay small so easier for me to take care of. We are working on better paper training and usual puppy antics. I have so much fun.

I am content to stay home more and also in this senior high rise there are people downstairs in community room to visit with. We have activities going on too so I don't have to leave the bldg.

I also have the priviledge of decorating the area by the elevator in my floor. I really enjoy that.
How is everyone?
