Posted - Jun 20 2020 : 06:49:35 AM Does anyone have one? We're considering one. I have 2 freezers filled with 1/2 cow and lots of other goodies. It would really stink if we lost power for more than a day or so. I've heard stories about ice storms here in East Tennessee.
Everything is electric in this house. I'd have to go to the camper to make coffee on the gas stove.
Anyway, tell me about your generator.

Posted - Aug 01 2020 : 10:57:06 PM I am totally off grid, and since I live in the northwest there is not enough sun to supply 24/7 power in the winter. I have a Kabota 6500 diesel generator that supplies power to my batteries when there is enough sun. It is backed up by a Yamaha 3000. |

Posted - Jun 20 2020 : 09:34:48 AM I don't open my freezers either. We have a Generac for the house but haven't had to use it yet thankfully.
