Been trying to think of something to make and I thought about a Memory Box. Below you will find the makings of the swap. Here goes....You will have plenty of time to do it up right! Think Shabby Chic or Victorian or Retro.
When you sign up, also put what style you like!

1 box..a wooden cigar box from a smoke store, a wooden box from Michaels or Hobby Lobby, something you can either paint, stain, or cover with lovely paper. Please none that are already covered cardboard.
After you paint, or stain, or cover with paper your box, you will decorate the top with embellishments, paper or fabric flowers, ribbons, lace, found objects, old bits of jewelry, bits and bobs of special things. Just make the top beautiful, worthy of holding special memories.
You will want to make the inside pretty also..paper, fabric, felt, you know what would be beautiful!!
Include feet on the box..spools, old wooden beads, metal pieces, anything that would do for feet.
Sound like fun?? Hope so....
Now, we will have a long enough sign up time. Sign up ends June 10th
This will give you time to find your box and assimilate your supplies and pretties.
Send out will be June 30th.

Beautiful memory box Sara and Maddie!! Love the three drawers and the inside of the drawers are gorgeous! Beth, I know I keep saying it, but this was such an inspirational swap, thank you for providing so many farm girls such inspiration and such a special place to keep our treasures!

  Hi Angela, I wanted to let you know I picked up my Memory Box from the post office today, it arrived safe and sound. Thank you so much, it is so pretty! I will post pictures tomorrow, I just wanted to let you know that it arrived.

I received a most beautiful "Treasure of a Box" from Amy!!! . On my!! It had a beautiful mermaid print and shells and treasures on the top and sides!!It was beautiful!! On the inside were delicious soap, a candle,and a lovely embroderied handkerchief...(forgive my spelling) It is beautiful!! When my kids comes this weekend, I will get them to post a photo!! Thank you again, Amy,for a real treasure!! I enjoyed the note also!! Smiles, Beth

Maddie, I, too, wrap my packages with twine, even my envelopes, love twine, but didn't realize current day packages from France still came wrapped like that, too! I guess, I may have a bit of something Euro in my blood, as there has been something calling me for many years, calling me over seas... one day!! :-) Thank you again, for such a special memory box, it's a memory in itself! I can't stop looking at it! Much Love!

Hi April I'm so thrilled you love the box. Beth, always says make something as if you were receiving it I think you & I have much in common. I have to correct one small thing, the purple floral letter opener, is actually a book marker but I guess it can be used as a letter opener I wrapped the package the way in which I receive packages from France, with twine, to aid the postman in the handling of the package.

Oh, Maddie ~ I just received your memory box today and I ***LOVE*** it! Thank you! I love the country French design with the burlap and twine touches and how you also used the twice for the feet buffer underneath! The sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers and I was touched to see them on top, especially when you had no clue how I adore them! It looks old, feels old and when I opened up the box... SURPRISES! A beautiful scented rose bud, twine and tags, blue note paper, wonderful teas (and I love my tea time!), a beautiful writing pen and purple flower letter opener (my favorite color as well). And, Thank you for your hand written letter on old accounting stationary, loved that touch! Everything feels so old and nostalgic and my heart is truly warmed! Thank you for making my memory box so special and including so many lovely touches! I feel the love! XO, April
