Gearing up for spring, I'm starting the list for a spring Apron Swap. I'd like for these to be hand-made aprons, so if you do not sew from scratch, email me and we can come up with a simple idea that will work for you! You can always email me; I have lots of ideas and patterns for aprons.

There are lots of ideas and patterns on Pinterest and on the Internet. I know Mary Janes Farm magazine and books also have patterns. I have a reversible apron that I just LOVE making and wearing. I also make recycled jeans aprons, using the tops-with-pockets of old jeans and adding fun and colorful skirts.

And Here's a link to the Mary Janes Farm Clothespin Apron pattern. The link and picture of the apron was in the newest Feb-Mar issue of Mary Janes Farm magazine. Very easy and useful for clothespins, gardening, or whatever you need apron pockets for.

Thanks, April. I'm glad I started the trend. Isn't it nice being able to put faces with their farmgirl names? I'd love to see faces with all the swap items when they are posted for all to see.

Deb, Thank you for the prettiest apron ever! I love it. I wish you gals could see what an awesome job Deb did. The apron is actually completely lined with the same fabric, making it thick and durable. I believe these aprons are called cobbler aprons. It is going to be my outside apron but I am not going to get it dirty. Well not for quite a while anyway. I put it on and just walked around outside yesterday. My husband asked what are you doing? I said trying out my new apron. He said oh I thought you were getting ready to do something. I said what and get this apron dirty? He just stared at me with this puzzled look and said I am not even going ask. Which was probably a great idea. The fabric is just absolutely beautiful, a cheery garden print. I am so ready for the next apron swap. Thanks again Deb you are the best! Maryellen

Omgosh, Linda! Talk about spoiled! I received not one but Two of the coolest aprons today! Made by Linda herself, of course! I told her what a messy cook and crafter I am! So, now I have a full size and a half apron. I love the denim and all the ruffles!!! The full apron has a nice, roomy pocket on the front! She also tucked in a pretty crocheted place mat in Easter/Spring colors and a very cool server.

Now, I'll be nice and neat when our Tribe comes for Easter! Thank you, Linda!!!

Thank you so so so much, Judith. My apron and goodies arrived today! You spoiled me way too much. She said she was tucking extras in since I was the hostess of the swap. I love the soft spring colors and fabrics of the apron. The tucks include an Iowa tourist magazine with 22 highlights not to miss, an Iowa map (Ed and I may just see all 22 LOL!), spring napkins, spring dishtowel, popcorn containers, candy eyes, cookie postcard, chocolate bar, 4 straws, marking pen, window clings, and the cutest handkerchief. Thank you so much! Your apron should be there tomorrow.
