Posted - Dec 10 2013 : 10:40:45 AM I received a wonderful peice of mail art from Amanda last night! I will try to post a photo soon - my camera is broken so that leaves me with my phone which isn't a very good camera. Anyhow, the peice is just wonderful and the sweet letter you wrote telling me about the history behind it was very appreciated. She made me a long felt tree that hangs in a doorway to pin cherished Christmas cards to. Thank you!

Posted - Dec 06 2013 : 09:32:07 AM Marlene (marlee), thank you soooo much for the box of goodies. What an awesome surprise! The chocolates were the first thing to go! I've got the chipboard gingerbread men half-decorated and plan to share one with you once I finish them :) Love the scented oil sticks, holiday decorated denim jean pocket (what a clever idea!), snowman-themed napkins/plates, and the decorated spiral-bound journal. I apologize for taking so long to post this message! There's something on it's way to you...Happy Holidays!

Posted - Nov 24 2013 : 08:34:23 AM Vanessa, Just a note to brag on the wonderful apron and poem I received from you. It was perfect. Lovely fall leaves appliqued on the front. Makes me homesick for the midwest. Central Texas leaves turn from green to brown and fall. Not much beauty there.
I will get a pictures of the fantastic apron asap and get it posted. Thank you so much for a wonderful November mail art.

I am so thrilled at my goodies! The ornament has glitter, little pinecones and holly and "joy" in little blocks. The foil-wrapped chocolates won't last long! Thank you Sarah!

Posted - Nov 18 2013 : 09:51:22 AM Karen, don't feel the need to rush to the post office to mail my package. You have a lot going on right now with your son. Bless his heart. I hope that he feels better soon. I cannot imagine what you must be going through.
Becky, I am glad that you liked the package. Thanks for the kind words about my sewing. I did not take a picture of my swap this time. Sorry about that. It has been a bit hectic around here.
I enjoyed swapping with everyone. Have a great week!

Posted - Nov 17 2013 : 1:56:09 PM Lei, Thank you so much for your package. I am sorry I can't post a photo - but I received a fun cookie swap cookbook (I love cookbooks), an owly Christmas towel and a pretty fabric Christmas - 'tis the season" postcard. In your note you said you haven't mastered paper yet but you don't need to - your sewing is great! Thank-you so much - swaps do brighten the day. Becky Messer
to Peggy - I found that you can paint on art paper canvas that you buy in tablets. When I cut it out I just made sure I painted to the edges in case it wanted to ravel. |

Becky Messer...What a Wonderful Mail Art Pkg I got from you yesterday!!! What a Day Brightener that was!
The Snowman Card was so adorable that you made (was the snowman out of a thin felt or what? I could tell it was Fabric)...and I loved the Vintage "Think Christmas" Craft and Recipe Book. I have a bad head cold..but while sitting in my recliner yesterday with my box of tissue and hot tea...I went through each and every craft and recipe. What a neat find my Friend and thanks so much for blessing me with it. I also found tucked between two pages a Paper Cross Bookmark...which was another little treasure! I especially Loved how you made the Christmas Ribbon Book Holder for the book. And thanks for tucking in the little pkg of Thanksgiving Stickers and Christmas decorations too. Those will look perfect on my little tree. I have a skinny but adorable 5 ft artificial tree...just right for Apartment Life. I decorate it in white, silver and blue. I call it my Dollar Tree...Tree, because most of the decorations I bought at the Dollar Tree. I gave all the family keepsake ornaments to my youngest son and family when we down-sized and went into Apartment Living.
Thank YOU So Very Much!!! Hugs and Blessings, Peggy/Mail Art Hostess
