I sure hope my swap partner received my package. It was sent out a month ago but I've never heard from her, never received anything. I don't care so much that I didn't get anything, but it does bother me that she never posted if she received mine. I hadnt swapped in quite some time because this just seems to happen so often. Oh well. Susan in Colo

Andrea,

I just want to say thanks, again, for your wonderful local swap box. I am enjoying the yummy orange body scrub that you made! It smells good enought to eat! I jealous that you are so close to the beach, and I appreciate your sharing the beach glass that you found and the beach-themed coaster and bottle of sand and shells. When I opened your box, I could almost smell the salt air! Like you, I love being outdoors in nature and it was really neat to see what your part of the country is like. I have put the orange candy out in an antique bowl to share with my family, and it fits right in with the fall decor that I've put up. Thanks again, and Happy Fall!

Warmly,
Pam

Hi Portia!
I was able to read most of the letter you wrote and am amazed that our paths have been so close! So amazing! I do hope you received the email I sent you. Perhaps you will make a trip back to Louisiana and we could have a visit! Maybe when it isn't too hot for you! Could enjoy some gumbo! Oh, and I know all about the sausage from Lejeune's! It is good but we loveT Boys right here near us in Mamou. And the boudin! Ummmm!
Again, thank you for the marinade! Hope to use it soon! Will let you know how it turns out!
God bless you!

Malena..
I received your wonderful package today with hot salsa and applesauce that you made and I will try it tomorrow. I loved the information on your church! Imagine building a church like that without nails. It was amazing what the craftsmen did with their buildings in the early years. Now they have to have nails to keep it as strong as the old buildings still are.
I will go the internet and look it up, I am also going to look up the pumpkin show in versailles. I will be writing you by regular mail also.
Everything got here safely. Thank you for the goodies of ginger drops and peanut butter pretzel and oat bran munchies. I love the ornament that you made I will put it in my window at christmas. Thanks for the great information even if it was tiny.. very interesting.
Thanks again.

I thought nothing of the sort Netty!

Considering I was late sending it, because things just kept getting in my way.....I would never think that the same stuff doesn't happen to everyone.

I am glad you liked the chocolate, they are one of my favorites and I tried to get ones that have particularly local flavor combos...blackberries are an actual pest-like weed here in Western Washington, growing and taking over everything in their path.

SO so happy you are enjoying everything Linda! It was absolutely my pleasure! Just emailed you with a little more info... Like I said, it would've been so much fun to be on the phone with you when you opened so I could REALLY tell you all about it! ;) Enjoy!

Sue - this is a wonderful, wonderful swap! Thank you! I hope we will all get to do another again in the future!

I received the most wonderful package from Nini today! Inside was
a jar of the tastiest jam I've ever tried. It is raspberry from a local
berry farm. She also enclosed a fantastic book on the history of
her town (I'm a history buff so I'm really going to enjoy that),
also enclosed was the most darling open hands milk glass dish from
the Westmoreland Glass Company in her area. It is so unique, can't
wait to use it for holiday and special times as a candy dish. She
even included some Sarris S'Mores marshmallow & Graham Cracker
covered milk chocolate bars....mmmm...sooo good! Loved all the
postcards and and information about the Sand Hill Berrie farm and
orchards which also sell fruit wines. Thank you ever so much Nini
for your fabulous package!

What I make with my
hands, I give with my heart ....

Neither can I Sue. Debbie always sends the neatest treasures from Alaska. She is my penpal/friend and always sends great treasures. My dogs love her too as she sends them Salmon treats.
Love this swap and hope you will do it again Sue, it is so much fun. My partner is also my penpal/friend, she is from Missouri as am I, even though I live in Colorado now. I am looking forward to what Missouri treats Deanna sends me. I love farmgirl mail!

Ok Thank you to Sue for getting back to me so quickly. Darlene I do apologize for my confusion. Sue says you are my partner so I will be posting your goodies posthaste at least I know where to find your address...LOL Sometimes I'm not sure what my brain does I think it goes on vacation because it knows the rest of me can't afford to (teehee). I thank you for being patient with me :)

My apologies to everyone. I signed up for this swap and have my stuff ready but somehow I didnt find out who my partner was or didn't see it for looking. I'm really not sure. I have emailed Sue again in hopes of getting the confusion straightened out and hope to hear from her soon. I thought I had somehow just been overlooked and not given a partner until I received such a delightful package of goodies today from Darlene.

Darlene I love the items you sent and am munching the tiramisu-cappucino popcorn right now. Yum. I've not tasted the cheese or the prickly-pear jalapeno jam yet but I am thinking that they might just be scrumptious together along with some Virginia ham and Breton wheat crackers! Since I noticed that you had another partner on here (Karen?) I wasn't sure then do I send my package back to Darlene or someone else.

Once again I do apologize. I feel so thick headed about now and I do have my goodies. I don't want anyone to be slighted so as soon as I hear back from Sue who I'm supposed to send my package to for sure they will be mailed immediately.
