Have an extra Dotee you made that doesn't fit into a swap? Give her up for adoption.
Here's how it works.
I will offer up the first Dotee for adoption. If you want to give her a home, post that you will take her, and offer up the Dotee you made for adoption. You will then send your address to the person adopting the Dotee out.
Please adopt the Dotee and immediately offer up your Dotee, so that the adoption process can continue, without delay.
If you don't have one made, offer her up as a mystery dotee.
If you want to send your Dotee overseas, say it in your post, otherwise, we'll keep it domestic. Please send your Dotees out within a week or so.
If you don't receive a Dotee, please let me know, but be sure to include your email address in the body of the email, as I can't log on sometimes.
For example I might post:
Dotee for adoption.
Her name, or a hint, brief description. You might even offer up a mystery Dotee.

I'm sorry I missed this. I have a couple of dottees that only need hair, I've been waiting for inspiration... If I had seen Red, that might have been all I needed!

OK..."Red" has found a new home else where,...so she is no longer up for adoption.
I am thinking maybe this whole adoption thread has fizzled out anyway. Maybe down
the road it will be re-kindled.

little red riding hood is really cute but I have to get some made still before I can adopt. I also like the chicken one on the other web site. that polish chicken is beautiful!!!

Ruby's and Pegs Dotees will be very late. That's not all that's late. I have been throwing up all day for a week plus. If it's a girl, I want to name her after Aunt Dorothy, and we'll call her Dotty. My second choice is Ruby Jean, funny, eh? Also, if you have a morning sickness cure, please find my other post.

Okay ya'll.....you best look out because I caught Trish on a very dubious thread on the forum. She was perusing for ideas for names for her Dotees.'Chuckle, chuckle!' :) Name of that thread? "what is your stripper name?" Do check it out...truly hilarious...I laughed so much almost cried and fell off my chair! I am still contemplating! What Dotee to put up for adoption. Sometimes it's just difficult to let go ! 'Chuckle,chuckle'

Peggy, Red sounds wonderful!! I can not wait to see pictures of her! Once i'm done with my internship and have a little more time I am going to have to join in! I just feel so discombobberated right now. Loving all of the dotees! |

My Adoption Dotee is now ready.
It is Little "Red Riding Hood" Dotee Style...
she is off to Grandma's House to take her a basket of flowers.
Would anyone like to adopt "Red"...by the way she did escape
the big bad wolf but she would like to hang-out at your house
just to be safe.

Just had to pop on and share this Dotee that I made for myself tonight. I know Iam suppose to be
working on the Adoption Dotee but I have had this one on my mind and heart for a couple of weeks.
So had to do her first. This is my "Ganmama" Dotee. That is what my two grand-daughters call me.
So she represent me. I was so pleased with how she turned out....I had to share. I think I may need
Therapy girls. I am turning into a Dotee Junky. LOL

Trish...if the new mystery Dotee is going to have a mini boa and isn't RED then I want to adopt her.
And I will put up a Mystery Dotee for Adoption...with more to come as I create her.
Though I am pretty fast once I get working on them.

So, that leaves me to offer up another dotee. Hmmm Lets see. I'll say Mystery dotee up for adoption, until I can give more hints. I have to go to Ben Franklin first. My new favorite thing is mini feather boa.
I promise I'll get the pic soon Peggy, I have been going chicken crazy, running around Washington buying hatching eggs and chicken related items.
